I was a guest at my Sister In Law's wedding on Saturday. Aside from some rain in the early afternoon, the day turned out nice. I wasn't the photographer, but for those of you who know me, know I rarely travel without my camera. I was still able to capture a few cute images...even a couple of the actual photographer. :)

I took last weekend off to hang out with my BFF at the B93 Birthday Bash. We volunteer every year. It really has it's perks. I was able to get front row for Gretchen Wilson!! Life this summer has been super busy. Between meetings, sessions, daughters endless activities I have been swamped. Please forgive me if I haven't gotten to your emails, voice-mails yet. I will be gone all weekend...much needed R&R. Birthday Bash Bound! :)

I will be returning all phone calls and emails on Monday & Tuesday (June 23 & 24).

I was able to take a 4 day mini trip with my husband last week. He was covering for someone on vacation so I was able to visit a few states that I've never been to. We were in a semi, never really got out to stop and shoot (except for once, a cute old little gas station), so everything is through a window or while driving down the road...it was a bit bumpy.

If you know me well, you know that Im addicted to Moutain Dew, so I had to take a picture of this vintage sign.

An old gas pump...I can only imagine how much gas was per gallon back when these where in use. I doubt it was $4/gallon!!

Email Issues & Engagement Session Deadline Extension

So, I have recently had some email issues that I wasn't aware of. To make a long story short, everyone who is in my fresh images email group is not receiving my emails. I have fixed the problem now.

So for those of you who weren't aware, I am currently looking for an engagement couple who is interested in a FREE session, prints & a DVD slideshow of their images. See post below from March 15 for all of the details.

I am extending the deadline for entries until MAY 1, 2008.

They are very excited to have him and I was honored that they asked me to document not only his 2 year portraits, but also his adoption hearing and open house. My daughter actually asked me to be photographed today. That never happens!! :) So I took advantage of it and we got some really cute stuff. We are both big fans of America's Next Top Model, so she was trying to emulate some facial expressions based on what she's learned from the show (aside from the 'tough' faces... :-). We had fun and what a beautiful day for it!!
